Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Total FUN! Will catch you no matter your age from 10 to 50 years old!
I have a few negative things to say about WarCraft 3. First, It is difficult to master. But once you learn how to defeat the Easy AI you jump with joy! It took me 2 months to master rushing when playing on Battle.net. Second, the campaign is not great. You cannot select which campaign you want to play and the story is not the best.

Pros:
1. Awesome gameplay
2. Cool units and heroes
3. Races are fun (Except the Undead race)
4. The fact that it's a Real Time Strategy (I'm a big fan)

Cons:
1. 2+ months to master
2. Campaign selection
3. You cannot select that many units at a time.
Overall a 5 star game!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the best RTS/RPGs on the market
Not only a great deal, this game has stood the test of time and is still enjoyable today. Play solo in campaign mode, multiplayer RTS classic mode, user created maps, mini games, tower defense, DOTA, castle defenders, and the list goes on!

If you like to command and conquer, this game is a must own.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very fun game once you understand
Warcraft 3 is another triumph for blizzard. The graphics great and the game play even better. A warning its not role-playing game this is a stratagy game. The concept of the game is to bulid you empire n=and dominate the map. This game is very very very fun. It will take 2 or so hourse for you to get the hang of thing but once the ball is rolling it wont stop. The online is extremely fun and the story mode is quite amazing. Just buy the game and if you dont like it then sell it. I love warcraft 3.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Amazing enthralling game series,
Great game, awesome story which continues the amzing tale from warcraft & warcraft II: Tides Of Darkness. Great graphics, game play and new units. Great landscapes to battle upon and overall a very enjoyable gaming experience. Hope they make a pt.4 and re-release Warcraft and Warcraft II for OS X.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A must-have for all fans of RTS!!
The 3D graphics look great. The game balance is absolutely flawless (typical Blizzard-style). I have yet to play a game from Blizzard that has disappointed me.

This Battle Chest comes with the original WW3 plus the Frozen Throne expansion (both strategy guides are included as well, which are basically just detailed walkthroughs for the single-player missions, so they're somewhat superfluous).

Just the single-player component of these two games is enormous!! (54 missions combined + an intro campaign + a secret mission + a bonus campaign). That's likely to be 35-50 hours of game time just in Single Player! There's also, of course, the world-renowned, Battle.net multiplayer part, too, so this game has essentially infinite replayability.

Compared to other RTS games, the single-player chapters are truly immersive. The missions are incredibly different and unique from one another, so you never feel that you're doing the same old thing over and over again. When you play a new race (4 total - each with a completely unique unit and building set, economy style, and feel), new and more powerful units are introduced gradually throughout the campaign, so you're constantly adapting your strategy and devising new and devious methods to crush the opponent with each mission!

Blogs | Appliweb Project

Welcome to my new project : Appliweb !

With Appliweb, I'll try to create a successfull opensource project, for a subject that I find most important: web development.

By successfull opensource project, I mean:

  - A Project with lots of (other) people involved

  - A Project  that will help people.

  - A Project I will eventually earn money with.

For this,

  - I've rent  a shared-server to an ISP: planetwork. A friend of mine (here) recommended them to me.

  - I setup a Joomla project, with blogs and comments and forums

  - I wrote some articles explaining my ideas and how to create them

It's the  first project that I didn't start by writing the code ! Others have failed, even if many people still looks into them....

Now the website is ready, I will begin to write some code (in javascript ! eechhhh).

I'm waiting to have something to show before I write about it in my favorite websites !

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

A new SDN article delves into the related commands.
