Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - I don't know how Amazon does it.
I bought this monitor on Friday and I received it today (Monday). I used the free shipping option so I have no idea how it got here so fast but I am delighted!

The monitor itself is great so far, no problems yet. You will most likely want to spend some time on calibration, as I found that the factory settings did not show off the capabilities of the screen. I can't wait to hook up a HD antennae to check out how good the TV looks on it, but so far I am quite pleased. Thanks Amazon!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good Stuff...
I was excited that my new 26' Samsung TOC arrived to me FAST, even with the Super Saver as a option. I am very proud of my investment and glad to have purchased through Amazon.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - TOC Really Means Touch Of Class
Samsung Touch of Color T260HD 26-Inch LCD HDTV Monitor
I purchased this LCD to use as a Monitor for my Lap Top Computer (and also to watch videos of course...). I am very impressed with the quality of the build and quality of the images. It really does work very well as a screen for my computer and as a video monitor. I couldn't be happier, and I highly recommend this particular Samsung TOC. BTW, I'm so impressed I'm seriously considering one of the 52 inch LCD Samsung TOC HDTV's for my main video system.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Samsung Delivers with T260HD Monitor
This Samsug product meets all my expectations. A widescreen brilliant monitor that also provides 1080i HDTV. I had to change out my office chair with a rocking swivel recliner. Thank God for my wireless keyboard and mouse. A 26" screen is a little close for a desktop, but will be a great HDTV for my RV.

One sour note...
The documentation is terrible. The product support web site is just as bad. If anyone can find out how to use the remote control, please let me know!

As usual, Amazon delivered the product on time and in good condition at a competitive price.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Samsung 26"HDTV
This product delivered as promised -- looks good, easy to hook up, and most importantly has a great picture. Clear, sharp and bright.

Amazon.com is offering a so-called Black Friday special on Eye-Fi Share:
The 2 GB Wi-Fi-enabled Secure Digital card normally runs $90; it's $65 while the sale lasts.

Given that Eye-Fi introduced a limited-time-only 4 GB "Anniversary" model that replaced the 2 GB Share version in its current line-up, and that the Anniversary model was $130 list but $100 for Costco members, it's pretty clear that the 2 GB won't re-appear, the 4 GB model will drop in price, and Amazon's acting as a clearance center.

The Eye-Fi Share lets you upload pictures over a local network to a designated computer, or upload via a Wi-Fi network for which the Eye-Fi is configured to connect over the Internet to Eye-Fi's servers, and from there to a specified photo-sharing, social-network, or photo-printing service.

I'm a fan of the Eye-Fi, although I favor the currently $130 Explore model (see my review), which comes with geotagging (via Skyhook Wireless) and adds a year of included uploading via Wayport locations (now part of AT&T).

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?
