Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionRollercoaster Tycoon 3: Wild is an incredible expansion pack that brings the majesty of Nature to your amusement park. Now you can do more than just add water parks, you can create an incredible circus filled with animal attractions. Build animal enclosures, cages, and attractions like a choreographed lion tamer show set in an arena. The little ones can ride on elephants, and the whole family can ride an SUV on a guided rail. Two radical new coaster types - One that has two cars rolling side-by-side then splitting off, another with cars hanging from a robot arm

Features:
  • Choose from two crazy new themes - Jungle and Prehistoric
  • 9 new scenarios, 8 great new roller coasters, 18 flat rides and 4 transport rides -- including a huge paddle steamer
  • Select from 6 different wild animals, all with their own needs
  • Maintain the grounds and keep the animals happy -- and have a tranquilizer gun ready in case they attack
  • Play with the animals to keep them happy - then get them to breed for new attractions or for selling to other zoos & parks

I love this game. It is very fun cuz ther is 9 new scenarios 8 new coasters. And the coaster cam. graphics are great and ther is the animal safaris ther is gorillas leopards lions and more!!!!. and say hi to more characters a new staff member and a v.i.p. member!!. The game play is good makeing roller coasters is fun in this game. You can make small zoos to. And the peeps are smart for game peeps. This game has a sand box wear you make parks with un limited money and a career mode. So stop wanting a expansion pack with your roller coaster tycoon game and by this game. P.s. if you want to no more make a coment.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Excitement Continues
RCT keeps coming out with better graphics and more fun! Each park is challanging in the variations offered. An absolute good time that makes it hard to stop playing.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for kids -- and adults
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 has been an enjoyable series at our house. Both my boys and I love playing the game. We had gotten the "Gold" version at Christmas which included the main game and the Soaked expansion pack. However, after that game got to be such a big hit with everyone, we ordered the Wild expansion pack. The animals in this aren't nearly as good or rich as those found in Microsoft's Zoo Tycoon series (1 or 2), but Zoo Tycoon doesn't have roller coasters, midway rides and water parks to go along with it. The elephant ride that goes through the animal exhibits has been a hit (the camera view even jiggles like you're really on a elephant).

The new coaster types included in Wild are good too, such as the Split and Multidimensional.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Fun at first
I was looking online one day and i found out a new expantion was coming out for rct3. I got very excited because i already have played rct3 soaked a million times. AS soon as got it, I installed it as quickly as i could and played for six hours striat. The next week, i popped in the disk aftr playing the game a lot to find out that it was getting boaring after a week! I found my self not making animals and animal shelters but building rollercoasters and pools.

I would say to not get this game unless you are a hard-core rct3 gammer like me. I loved it because of the new coasters and not the animals. So buy this game if you are looking for more features and rollercoasters but if your buying it for the animals, DONT BUY IT!

Amazon.com is offering a so-called Black Friday special on Eye-Fi Share:
The 2 GB Wi-Fi-enabled Secure Digital card normally runs $90; it's $65 while the sale lasts.

Given that Eye-Fi introduced a limited-time-only 4 GB "Anniversary" model that replaced the 2 GB Share version in its current line-up, and that the Anniversary model was $130 list but $100 for Costco members, it's pretty clear that the 2 GB won't re-appear, the 4 GB model will drop in price, and Amazon's acting as a clearance center.

The Eye-Fi Share lets you upload pictures over a local network to a designated computer, or upload via a Wi-Fi network for which the Eye-Fi is configured to connect over the Internet to Eye-Fi's servers, and from there to a specified photo-sharing, social-network, or photo-printing service.

I'm a fan of the Eye-Fi, although I favor the currently $130 Explore model (see my review), which comes with geotagging (via Skyhook Wireless) and adds a year of included uploading via Wayport locations (now part of AT&T).

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?
