Product DescriptionSymantec pcAnywhere 12.1 Host and Remote makes connectivity fast, reliable and simple. The pcAnywhere Gateway provides a single connection point behind routers and firewalls, minimizing port configuration and eliminating the need to 'daisy-chain' remote sessions within one another. The Host Invitation feature enables connections to be made from Host to Remote, instea of the usual Remote to Host. pcAnywhere's CrossPlatform Remote, Basic View and Tabbed Session Manager all streamline the remote access connection and navigation process. Minimize any potential issues introduced by routers, firewalls, and dynamic IP addressing - invitation objects can be emailed directly to the Host user for immediate secure access. Now includes support for Windows Vista and Mac OS X Universal, in addition to current support for Linux. Connection Wizard makes pcAnywhere easier to use than ever Support for Microsoft Windows Preinstallation Environment helps you get crashed systems back up and running quickly

Researchers in Europe have generated a digital zebrafish embryo -- the first complete developmental blueprint of a vertebrate. With a new microscope scientists could for the first time track all cells for the first 24 hours in the life of a zebrafish. The data was reconstructed into a three-dimensional, digital representation of the embryo.

Microsoft has acknowledged that exploit code is circulating for a still-unpatched vulnerability it first reported six months ago. But it's not clear when, or if, it plans to release a patch.
