Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - didn't work
The disk that came with the book didn't work on my Lenovo laptop running Vista. So, the book was useless for me.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Useful book
If you are new to Vista this is a must have book. Vista is super user friendly but is different from XP. The auto backup system is totally new and is covered in the book... Even if you are good with XP it is best not try to wing it with Vista.. Too many "gotchas" in Vista....

Book is well written for beginners and experts alike..

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - easy to follow
The book is like it's name "step by step" I have windows vista for dummies, but found step by step windows vista easier to follow especially since I am new to the computer world.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Tech Help
This is a good book and very helpful. Windows Vista is almost like learning the computer all over again and this book was very helpful

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Simple Upgrade
I am well pleased with Step by Step. Moving from Windows 98 to Vista is a traumatic experience for me, I needed some help and found it.

The fact that I'm able to type this blog entry less than a week after the operation has me hopeful that recovery will be quicker than I was led to believe, but it will still be a few weeks before I'm able to really tackle any serious work.
