Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Never received, No Response from seller
I was very disappointed as I purchased this item hoping to have it with-in the time guaranteed. I didn't receive the item, I tried contacting the seller and I didn't receive any response. I did call Amazon and the customer care person was very courteous and put a claim in to guarantee my purchase. I am not happy with the seller but I was assured by Amazon's commitment.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Microsoft Office 2007
I Love It! Give it time and it will grow on you! Things are moved around a bit, however, once I familiarized myself with the new functions it definately wins hands down over the 2003 Version.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - works like a microsoft product
bought this about a year ago, works fine, no kinks with the upgrades, microsoft did a decent job with the new look, though i don't think anyone really likes it too much.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Product
A long time user of Office, I was worried by all the reports of how difficult the transition to 2007 would be. Well, with maybe 20 minutes of exploring, and making sure where the new commands were, I was pleased and impressed with the new approach. For nearly all commands, it is easier to find what you are looking for. Right clicking for the new context menus is now much more helpful. So I give this version full marks. Downsides/quibbles: not crazy about the layout of contacts in Outlook, and less info is available on the monthly view of the Calendar, but I like the upcoming reminders popping up along the right side. It is slightly slower on my Dual Core 3.0 MHz machine than 2003.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pricey but have to have it
When are we going to start the open source office revolution? I'm tired of shelling out $300 per PC so people can have email and such. Anyhow, the software is good and does what it is supposed to do.

Sun Microsystems has announced plans to cut between 5,000 and 6,000 jobs — that's between 15 and 18 percent of its workforce.

"It blamed the cuts on the global economic downturn, but I think that like many other companies, Sun is using the downturn as an excuse for what were pre-existing problems, foretold by its stock price, which seems to be in an unending swoon," suggests GigaOM's Om Malik.

"How much has Sun spent to develop Solaris or Java?" asks InfoWorld's Neil McAllister. "How much must it continue to invest in maintaining other products, which, despite being open source, have no appreciable development community? To say these products are not loss leaders suggests something akin to Hollywood accounting."

The answer? "Spin off Java," McAllister added in a later post. "Just get rid of it — farm it out to an industry consortium and let the companies that depend upon it manage it..."
